Music to Benefit the George L. Cooke Elementary School’s Backpack Program Featuring The AVEnue In-Person
The Sullivan County music duo, The AVEnue, is excited to perform a concert to collect non-perishable food items to fill the pantry of the George L. Cooke Elementary School Backpack Program. Each week, the backpack program sends a bag of non-perishable food items homewith students in need. Joana Dutcher, second-grade teacher at the George L. Cooke School, and Michael Henry, a retired teacher from the Bronx, will be performing songs from the 50s to today.
Below, is a list of food suggestions. Please no glass jars. If possible, please bring packages that can be easily broken up to single servings.
