Benefits of Tai Chi for Arthritiis In-Person

‘Benefits of Tai Chi for Arthritis’, presented by Bonnie Lewis, RN

and Certified Instructor, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County.

Bonnie will discuss how Tai Chi can increase strength, posture and

relaxation, prevent falls and reduce stress.  Ordinarily, Bonnie offers

one hour classes twice a week for 8 weeks free to seniors.

This program consolidates information from these classes and presents

an overview of the value of Tai Chi for arthritis prevention.  Movements

are slow, smooth and continuous and may even been done seated in a chair.

Free and open to the public.
