Virtual ZOOM Program: 'The Secrets of a Mockingbird: The Life of Harper Lee' In-Person
'The Secrets of a Mockingbird: The Life of Harper Lee’, presented virtually by Prudence Holmes.
Harper Lee, the beloved author of To Kill a Mockingbird, had close relationships with her father and her best friend, Truman Capote. Both of these men broke her heart; she never wrote another book . . . until she did. This performance explores the reasons why she did and gives insight into her strong devotion to the cause of Civil Rights.
Prudence is a solo performer based in New York City and has performed at many libraries in our area. She offered solo shows across the United States and Europe and has also been in four Broadway shows and ten movies, including Sister Act I and II with Whoopi Goldberg. After the performance, there will be time for a Q&A.
This program will be presented on ZOOM as well as on YouTube Live. Registration is required and is limited.
