After the Fall: Life After Sullivan County’s Golden Age In-Person
Historian John Conway presents an exciting new program offered by the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library. After his nearly thirty years as the official Sullivan County Historian, John Conway's timeline depicting the evolution of the Sullivan County resort industry is well known to many, and concepts such as the Silver Age and the Golden Age have entered the mainstream vernacular. But what happened in the county after the Golden Age ended? Conway examines and explains that time period, including the airport, proposed convention centers, and music festivals real and imagined.
