Native Wildflower Seeds Presented by Pamela Golben

Native Wildflower Seeds Presented by Pamela Golben In-Person

Learn all about seeds at this Native Wildflower Workshop. Learn the basics for collecting, storing and planting seeds from our native wildflowers. We will identify 6 different native plants and the benefits they provide to the local ecosystem. Learn how to remove seeds from dry seed heads and how to properly store them. We will also demonstrate seed sowing techniques for native seeds. Take home some seeds for your own garden! Pam is a local naturalist, environmental educator and owner of Golben Farms, a small nursery specializing in native plants. She is also the Senior Educator at the Mamakating Environmental Education Center, and lectures at local libraries and other venues.
