A Thanksgiving Theme with Pedro Tweed Snow Date In-Person

In spite of our struggles, what can we be thankful for? Pete will dive into the concept of finding thankfulness in the midst of hard times.

Pedro "Pete" Tweed is a coach, author, actor, and inspirational speaker. He moved to Sullivan County in 1974 and worked as a poolside entertainer doing martial arts and gymnastics at The Brickman Hotel. As a result, he met and trained several film stars. He is the former Director of the Village of Monticello Parks and Recreation Department.  He worked for the village for 23 years and continues to run his well-known Monticello Gymnastics Club training hundreds of athletes over some 40 years. Pete has been featured in magazines and TV shows, including ‘Live With Regis and Kathie Lee’. He became an inspirational assault prevention speaker and is a recipient of the Community Service Award from the NAACP for his continued years of community service. Tweed is proud of his accomplishments and is now a published author. Tweed’s book, ‘Freeway (Finding Room Enough To Evaluate Who You Are)’  is about his take on life. Pete continues to write and more published books are expected. Pete is currently working on a film about Social Consciousness.
